Brendan Gaffney is Co-Founder of Venturewave Group and Managing Partner at Venturewave Capital. He is actively involved in portfolio support, investment sourcing, ESG alignment, due diligence, and strategic partnerships. He oversees Venturewave Group and provides strategic direction across its subsidiaries, including Venturewave Capital, Venturebeam (formerly Funderbeam), Rochtaine, and Venturewave Partners.
Brendan was instrumental in the management buy-in of Blueface alongside Alan Foy and Lord Iveagh (Head of the Guinness Family), guiding its growth into a global UCaaS leader acquired by Comcast Business in 2020. He also served as President of Global Cloud at Star2Star Communications, leading its successful scaling and eventual acquisition by Sangoma in 2021.
An internationally recognised Burning Man artist, Brendan creates large-scale sculptures from recycled steel. These sculptures have been permanently exhibited in 42 museums globally and featured in Ripley’s Believe It or Not! He has undertaken significant art commissions for prestigious clients such as Google, Activision, EuroMillions Lottery, and the television series Top Gear.
As Co-Founder and Director of Rochtaine, Brendan cultivates elite client relationships and strategic partnerships across private aviation, yachting, and bespoke hospitality, enhancing the company’s luxury experience offerings.
Brendan graduated with first-class honours from Trinity College Dublin, earning a BBS and MA. He is also known as an expedition leader and Burning Man artist, showcasing his passion for adventure, sustainable practices, and impactful ventures.
